Government has announced Solar for Rakyat Incentive Scheme – Solaris on 27th March 2024. It is a great news for all the 1st time buyer for solar system under NEM program.
Here are the summary of Solaris Program:
- Incentive of RM 1,000/kWac and up to max RM4,000 rebates for those apply Net Energy Metering (NEM) program starting from 1st April 2024. EG: If you install a 6.66kWp or 5kWac solar system, you are entitled for RM 4,000 incentives.
- Open to all Malaysians with claims limited to 1 for each person registered under Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) account holder
- SEDA NEM application must be anytime between 1st Apr 2024 to 31st Dec 2024, and the NEMCD or solar system are fully operated before 31st March 2025
- This Solaris Program is on first come first serve basis
